Welcome to the website for Scunthorpe Treaders
We are a small group of guys from the Scunthorpe area, who love nothing more than pushing our minds and bodies beyond their usual limits in the name of charity. We first got together in the summer of 2005 to tackle a challenging 400 mile route from Calais to Paris and back with a brief stop to watch the finale of Lance Armstrong’s last Tour De France.
In July of 2006 we again got together, but this time for an immense 400 mile route including a long stretch of the Pennine Cycle Way. Departing from Berwick upon Tweed on Friday and arriving back in Sunny Scunny on Monday with just the small matter of England’s steepest hills and highest peaks to slow us down. |
